I've been doing M&K for about seven months now and I wanted to share the results I've seen.
I started this journey after realizing that I had some real long term health risks that I needed to tackle. For a supposedly "normal" 30 something guy I had an unsustainably high blood pressure (140/80) and was carrying a fair amount of extra weight for someone who's 5'9" (192 lbs). I suffered from headaches, fatigue and I knew I could look better.
My wife Emily is a huge M&K fan and when I got my highest BP reading I decided to give it a try. In the past six months I've changed the way I eat (no more gluten, no more refined sugar, less grain, a lot more veggies and a lot more fruit). In maybe the biggest change, I drink my coffee black (and suddenly realize how much I like coffee itself, which I used to miss under all the cream and sugar). I work out 3-5 times a week. Lately I've been throwing in a second workout somedays which has been great.
I've seen some really life changing results. My weight is down to 168. I have a totally different shape. I even had to buy all new pants :). Most importantly my blood pressure is down to 104/68, which is stunningly good.
I'm so grateful to PYM, Emily and Tandy for helping get my health back. Here's to a healthy 2015!
